Experiencing Pain?

Any pain should be explored.

When clients contact us they usually have experienced some type of pain. It can be from a variety or multiple places in their bodies. Back, shoulder, neck, leg or foot pain to name a few. We start with identification and assess those pains as a starting place to help you get relief and get started on a road to recovery.

How your bodies alignment and stress effect your life:

Your bodies alignment is negatively affected by your daily activities such as sitting behind a computer, lifting everyday items. Your tense muscles help pull you into a slouching position.

Stress can produce movement habits that become remembered by the body and it’s tissues.

It doesn’t have to be this way. We can help!

Our process…

Structural Assessment:  identify problems

Movement Assessment: Identify pains

Phase 2

Manipulation and adjustment

Phase 3

Feeling great in your body., Return to an active life style with elimination/ reduction of pain. Increased range of motion and comfort.

What others are saying about their Rolfing experience with Amanda:

The results Amanda helped me achieve were incredible. I can now move more freely with more balance and grace. Most importantly the pains that I experienced and that were identified from the start were all but eliminated. Throughout the 10 session treatments I made progress easily and found that I looked forward to coming in to visit Amanda. I highly recomend the Rolfing experience.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How does Rolfing work?

Rolfing relieves compression in the body by lengthening your body’s soft-tissue.

How does Rolfing differ from Massage Therapy?

The goal of Rolfing is all about the alignment of your body. Which includes eliminating imbalance and working directly on connective tissue to release the impingment that causes the imbalance.

The goal of massage is to increase circulation and to relax your muscles and joints.

How can Rolfing ease my pain?

Working on the bodies alignment you increase it’s ability to bounce back from injury. Long term relief is achieved by addressing the underlying source of the pain.
